Fencing Ireland is delighted to announce the launch of our new Assistant Coach programme. The pilot course for which is taking place this June.

Time: 1130-1830
Qualification description
Assistant coaches be qualified to aid in session delivery or deliver parts of sessions which have been planned by a supervising lead coach. Assistant Coaches will primarily work with beginners or fencers who are past the beginner stage but still in their early years of fencing. The fencers coached might include children, students, or adults.
Assistant coaches are NOT qualified to coach independently.
Requirements
- Full member of Fencing Ireland
- 16 years or older at time of course
- SAFEGUARDING 1 CERTIFICATE COMPLETED BEFORE COURSE
No prior coaching qualification required.
